About

I'm a coach for professionals who feel stuck in their role and need help identifying their next career move or transitioning through a career. 

I'm based in Washington, DC, where I live with my husband and two cats. I spent more than 15 years in health care marketing and communications managing strategic campaigns across diverse sectors, from cardiology-focused medical associations to government agencies and private/public enterprises. In 2019, I earned a certificate in Coaching from the Association for Talent Development, and it gave me a taste of coaching others. 

After a layoff in late 2023, I paused to recharge, reflect, and refocus on my next career move. Through deep self-exploration, in-depth aptitude testing, and honest conversations with close connections, I identified my north star: people-focused work helping others navigate their own career journeys. This realization inspired me to start Justin Zielke Coaching, take on clients, and become the best career coach that I can be.
